The enriched woodland is an area with apparently natural forest. This kind of woodland has been cleared of the vegetation and broadcast-seeded with plant species (e.g. using pines during the late 1940s and early 1950s) thereafter. The enriched woodland is thus often be identified by its dominant trees which are of the same species and similar age and size.
